The San Antonio Spurs on Monday signed guard/forward Malik Hairston, who had spent the entire season with the Austin Toros, the Spurs' affiliate in D-League.

In 11 games with the Toros, the Oregon product averaged 19.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and 4.6 assists.

Hairston spent training camp with San Antonio, but was waived on October 26 after six preseason games.

He was taken by Phoenix with the 48th overall pick in this year's draft and acquired by San Antonio for the draft rights to point guard Goran Dragic.
