South Africa's World Cup-winning coach Jake White will be used as a consultant by Toulon for a two-week period next month.
White, 45, will begin work with the club from the south of France on December 7 and could extend his stay if things go well.
Former Australia coach John Connolly and ex-South Africa boss Nick Mallett had previously been linked with a consultancy role at Toulon.
A club statement read: "During the two weeks, he will work with Tana Umaga and Aubin Hueber, a mission which could be renewed if the Toulon staff want to."
Toulon, who beat Biarritz 10-5 on Saturday, are fourth from bottom in the Top 14 table.
