Former Tennis great John McEnroe believes Britain's Andy Murray could win the upcoming Australian Open in January.

The world No 4 enjoyed an outstanding 2008, winning five ATP titles, and will be a strong contender to lift the trophy at Melbourne Park in January.

McEnroe told Sky Sports News: "He got to the US Open final and I think he's got even better since then. He's put himself in a great position where he can go and win the Australian Open."
