Boston Celtics forward Glen Davis was injured in a car accident on the Massachusetts Turnpike just before Sunday's game.
According to team officials, Davis suffered a concussion and whiplash in the crash, which happened on his way to TD Banknorth Garden.
He was taken to Brigham and Women's Hospital, where Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge was with him.
There was no immediate word on the severity of the injuries or the exact location of the accident. Officials did not say what caused the crash, but snow has fallen on the area for three straight days.
